The Albright Improv Awards are given out at the end of the year to celebrate the fine work being done by our ensemble members. Read below for more info on each award, as well as to see past recipients.
The Albright Improv Award
This award is given to the most outstanding member of the ensemble. This person exemplifies what it means to be a great improviser - onstage and off. They are giving, supportive, attentive, committed (and probably pretty darn funny too).

The Risk Taker Award
This award is given to the member or team who has taken the biggest risks. These can be onstage in performance or rehearsal, or they can be off-stage or administratively. Success in improv is all about taking risks, and this award celebrates the member or team who isn't afraid to do something bold.

The Jon L. Lamangan Memorial Award
Sometimes a scene doesn't work. We've all been there. Sometimes it is so bad that it becomes sort of oddly comical. This award is given to the player or team who happen to perform the absolute worst scene of the year - so bad that it will live on in legend.
