Founded by Professor Matt Fotis in 2013, Pockets With Pants is the long-form improv group on campus. Unlike Less Than, PWP is an audition based group - auditions are held at the beginning of each semester. We perform a variety of long-form structures, old and new.
Not sure what long-form is? Well, it is a scene based style (as opposed to the game based style of short-form). Usually the audience gives a simple suggestion at the top of the show that inspires a collage/collection/series of scenes. Humor comes from relationships, connections, and call-backs. Give it a try and see what you think.
In addition to our regular campus shows, we've performed at the Steel Stacks Improv Comedy Festival, the College Improv Tournament, ComedySportz Philly's Collegiate Comedy Challenge, and the Figment Theater in Philadelphia. We've also headlined Albright Arts Night at the T.E.A. Factory in Reading, and of course have been featured performers at the Albright Improv Festival.
